It also enhances a balanced flow of energetic circulation leading to a state of calmness, contentment and an overall lasting feeling of relaxation. Ultimately, Yin Yoga promotes the vitality, hydration, mobility and strength of the connective tissue. The connective tissue in and around the muscles and joints is targeted. Yin Yoga emphasizes passive postures held for several minutes at a time, with muscles in a relaxed state.
